Elterbarry Press was created by two Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALT) in Dallas, Texas. The reading, spelling and alphabet/dictionary concepts are Orton-Gillingham based and follow the scope and sequence of Alphabetic Phonics and many other multisensory structured language courses.

The games have been used by classroom teachers, reading specialists, and academic language therapists in both public and private school settings.
